Kathryn is a compassionate and empathic Clinical Psychologist. Since qualifying in 2004, she has worked in a range of settings in the NHS and privately: Paediatrics (including a multi disciplinary feeding clinic and pain services),  Child and Adolescent Mental Health, and Adult Mental Health (privately, in Australia 2019 to 2022). She has also worked with a range of professionals providing teaching, training and supervision.

Kathryn can work with a range of psychological difficulties in children and adults including emotional and behavioural difficulties, trauma, chronic illness and adjustment to life events. 

​

Kathryn draws from a wide-range of evidence-based therapeutic approaches which help inform tailored interventions. These approaches include Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT),  Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT)  Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). and Eye Movement Desensitisation Reprocessing (EMDR)

She has developed  a passion for working with parents, supporting them manage and foster their child's emotional well being  She  runs a group ‘Emotional Intelligence for Parents’. If you are looking for guidance on how manage your child’s emotional well-being this is an excellent way to develop essential skills and thrive from being part of a supportive group.
